On April 8, 2025, Li Yuan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Lixian County Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, led a research team to conduct a special investigation into the construction of the Gansu Baoshan Antimony Industry Co., Ltd. Relevant leaders from the county's emergency management bureau, industry and information technology bureau, public security bureau, and Baihe Town Party Committee accompanied the investigation.
The research team learned in detail about the company's production and operation, construction and transformation, and safety and environmental protection work. At a symposium, Peng Yehui, the production mine manager of Gansu Baoshan Antimony Industry, systematically reported the actual difficulties encountered in the mine area's development and construction, project progress, and safety production.
After listening to the report, Secretary Li Yuan emphasized the need to coordinate the development and safety "dual-drive", strengthen management and supervision, and strictly implement the enterprise's main responsibility for safety production. Comrades from the emergency management department, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the public security department made important instructions and arrangements for the mine construction work and major difficulties.
This investigation coordinated and clarified specific issues related to mobile communications, transportation roads, and mine theft, ensuring the safe and orderly progress of the construction project.
