The 2015 (first) China Antimony Products Market Trading Summit has concluded successfully!

SMM September 11: In 2015, under the shadow of a global economic downturn, the antimony industry also experienced a life-or-death struggle. Since May, the repeated record lows of antimony prices have caused industry insiders to suffer the hardship of winter in the middle of summer. Where is the antimony industry heading? Can it be reborn with the help of "Internet+"? What role will the Internet B2B model meticulously built by Shanghai Metals Market play? The 2015 (First) China Antimony Product Market Trading Summit was successfully held in Shanghai Gujing Holiday Hotel on September 9-10, answering industry questions and building a communication bridge for the entire antimony industry.

More than 100 representatives from the upstream and downstream of the antimony industry chain gathered together, truly creating a face-to-face "matchmaking party" for the entire industry. A total of 75 companies and 105 people registered for the conference (including 12 antimony mines and mining companies, 22 antimony ingot smelting and antimony ingot trading companies, 15 antimony oxide processing and antimony oxide trading companies, 6 deep processing companies such as sodium antimonate, antimony glycol, and antimony acetate, and 19 end-users such as plastics, rubber, glass, and batteries), with 71 companies and 101 people in attendance. While exchanging ideas and clarifying the current situation and problems of the industry, the non-ferrous metal production, supply, and sales trading platform - e-commerce B2B model, meticulously built by Shanghai Metals Market, also unveiled its mysterious veil, allowing antimony industry chain personnel to interact on-site while providing convenient service channels for subsequent online communication, offline matchmaking transactions, and even spot trade financing.

As a traditional small metal industry, the traditional trading model of the antimony industry has been severely restricting the development of enterprises due to the lack of transparency in production, supply, and sales information and the poor trading channels, causing serious problems for many companies. The establishment of the Shanghai Metals Market's third-party trading platform truly provides enterprises with an open, fair, and just trading environment, saving them from the distrust and trouble caused by information asymmetry, becoming the preferred solution to address the antimony supply and demand problem.

With China's antimony ore resource advantages declining year by year and the demand for antimony ore imports increasing year by year, Shanghai Metals Market also invited four major antimony ore suppliers from overseas: GPM Chemicresource LLC, Polymet Trading Limited, Voyager Group, and Global Connection. Simultaneous interpretation and on-site translation were provided to build an international communication bridge for the import needs of domestic smelting and processing enterprises.
