Reflections on "Who Moved My Cheese?"
I remember when I first joined the company years ago, the CEO recommended several books, including Spencer Johnson's classic "Who Moved My Cheese?" I recently finished reading this book and was deeply inspired, gaining new insights and perspectives on many aspects of life and work.
Through the simple yet philosophical story of two little people and two little mice searching for cheese, this book reveals the different attitudes and approaches people take when facing change, vividly illustrating different reactions and strategies to change. The "cheese" in the book symbolizes the goals and successes we pursue in life and work, while the maze represents the environment and challenges we face. Below is a humble sharing of my insights from both personal and corporate perspectives.

I. Embrace change. As the book says, "Change is the only constant." The two little people mentioned in the book, Hem and Haw, represent those who cling to old ways of thinking and are unwilling to change in the face of change. They are afraid and resistant to change, ultimately missing opportunities. The two little mice, Sniff and Scurry, represent those who adapt flexibly to change and are willing to explore new things. They use their intuition and action to ultimately find new cheese.
II. Teamwork. The characters in the book work together and share information to find the cheese, which made me deeply realize the importance of teamwork. In a company, we often face various complex problems and challenges, and going it alone is often difficult to cope with and unsustainable. Through teamwork, we can brainstorm, leverage each other's strengths, and work together to find the best solutions to problems. Just as Hem and Haw wandered in the maze, if they could put aside their prejudices and cooperate with each other, keeping up with the pace of progress, they might be able to find new cheese together faster. Conversely, if you are like Hem, clinging to the past, self-pitying and unwilling to change and accept change, you will eventually be abandoned and eliminated.
III. Positive attitude. Here I want to advocate the way Sniff and Scurry handle things in the book. It's not about what happens after problems arise and unsatisfactory situations occur, but a proactive attitude of "being prepared for danger in times of peace." When you are enjoying peace and quiet, always maintain a positive, cautious, and humble attitude. The characters in the book show different attitudes when facing change. After a period of confusion and loss, Haw finally wakes up to change. This makes me understand that in a developing company, we need not only a sense of crisis and a long-term strategic vision, but also an indomitable optimism and positivity when facing challenges and difficulties, the courage and composure to break through difficulties, in order to find solutions to problems and achieve personal and corporate growth.

In short, "Who Moved My Cheese?" is not only a book about personal growth, but also a book about corporate development. It reminds us that in a constantly changing world, only by constantly adapting and innovating can we find our own new cheese. As members of a company, we should draw wisdom from it, and in a constantly changing world, dare to explore new things, attach importance to the importance of teamwork, and have the inclusiveness to actively face challenges, so that both ourselves and the company can remain invincible in the competitive market and development.
